Welcome Friends!

Since 2015, Newcomers Nashville & Friends has welcomed those new to Nashville and others looking for new Nashville friends. We have one common goal: to meet new people while enjoying all Nashville has to offer and create lifelong relationships. Any woman with a Nashville address or who is a resident of Davidson county can join! 

Every month, we over almost a dozen activities from potluck dinners to card games and crafts. And of course, music! For more information on the kinds of things we get up to, check out our activities page.

Greetings! Glad you found us. The mission of Newcomers is to provide an environment to make new friends, participate in activities and create lifelong relationships. We are both newbies and long time residents with one common goal - to find friends along our journey. Our membership is limited to women with a Nashville address or who reside in Davidson County at this time.  

Newcomers History

It all began  Newcomers Nashville was started in May of 2015.   Our six founding members were new to Nashville, missed their old friends and activities and wanted to make new friends as well as get to know their new community.  From the first six around a kitchen table, Newcomers Nashville has grown by leaps and bounds providing a variety of activities every month.  That proves our six founding members weren't alone in their desire to share the exciting journey they were on! 

Then we grew...  As we grew and word spread, our members soon wanted to bring a friend or neighbor who weren't exactly new to the area and we welcomed them with open arms. Our name was changed slightly in 2019 to Newcomers Nashville and Friends to reflect that our door is open to all Nashville women seeking friendship.
